The TPL Series 3-Phase Leakage Tester is a safer, more accurate way to perform Leakage Current testing on 3-phase appliances.

3-phase appliances which are electronically controlled, or switched using relays or contactors cannot be thoroughly tested using only an Insulation Resistance Test, and a three phase leakage test is required. This is because the Leakage Tester will test all live parts of the appliance, whereas the Insulation Resistance Tester would only test the supply cable in these circumstances.

The TPL-2032 can perform leakage tests on 4-pin and 5-pin 20A and 32A 3-phase appliances.
