240VAC - 240VAC Isolation Transformer for use when testing portable RCDs.
Small and portable - designed for Test and Tag Technicians.

This isolation transformer is put in place between the powerpoint and the portable RCD under test. The PAT or RCD Tester is then connected to the RCD under test, and the RCD Trip Time or RCD Ramp Current Test is performed.
The Isolation Transformer is used to prevent tripping the RCD at the building's switchboard that protects the power point that you will use for testing.
This isolation transformer is specifically designed for this use only, and must not be used for any other purpose.
